Anonymous asked: Hello, I was wondering if you might have any recommendations for a good base/top coat to prolong the wear of polish and prevent chipping? Also do you know of any silver holographic nail polish that is easily aquired and on the budget conscious side?
i personally use nail tek base coat. seche vite is a very good quick dry top coat that works.
as far as a good and affordable silver holo polish that you can get easily, i would say milani cosmetics polish in HD. if you live in the US you can find milani cheaper than what the website states at places like CVS, Kmart, and some nicer grocery stores like Giants or Martin’s.
there are plenty others that are even better that are a more linear holo, but easiest to get online and most are not US brands so the shipping can get pricey. i know GOSH, Glitter Gal, and Nubar make some pretty amazing silver holos. also china glaze did an amazing holo line in..2009? that is worth looking up even though it’s hard to get a hold of now.
